The Ladakhipedia Project
The first attempt at creating Ladakhipedia in 2014.
Welcome to Ladakhipedia! the free encyclopedia that any Ladakhi student can edit
Ladakhipedia is a multi-year project of HEALTH Inc and the HELP inc Fund.
Ladakhipedia is a multi-lingual, online encyclopedia hosting a wide variety of entries designed by school children. It's by Ladakhis, for Ladakhis and connects Ladakh to the world.
When you search Ladakhipedia, you'll find it operates just like Wikipedia. You'll find articles about different villages and regions of Leh and Kargil Districts, Ladakh, history, culture, economy, environment and efforts students are making to take their traditions into the future.
If you'd like your Winter Camp or School to join Ladakhipedia, please contact us at:

This Week's Ladakhipedia Build Hint
Templates are one of the biggest assets in building a Ladakhipedia page. Wikipedia has thousands of templates, all created by its users. Some help you insert a gallery of photos. Others help you insert a table of political and geographic details of a place. We have created a small template library to get you started creating your village page. And a Template Dictionary for you to view what each template looks like. |
